  1. Hi Aaron,

    You mentioned you get there early as you have to memorize , which makes sense. Do you wait to sign in closer to your call time, after you have worked on the sides? I have found if I sign in when I get there early and try to familiarize myself with sides, sometimes the casting director is ready early and they call me in and I’m not quite ready.

    1. Mary, that is a great question. If you are attending a Union casting, you are given a very specific time slot. I normally just hide until I am ready, so that way no one will call me in until I am ready.
      If there is no specific time slot, maybe you could even leave the casting office and find a quiet place to work on your sides.
